WHAT?
San Jose is known for our beautiful sunny weather and what better way to celebrate summer than a massive waterballoon battle in the heart of Downtown?! We invite everyone to bring as many waterballoons and supersoakers as you can to a "To Be Announced" downtown plaza and get everyone soaked!
As you may know, flash mobs only work by telling a friend to tell a friend. So we need you join, invite and share the news.
GUIDELINES
1. Tell Everyone about Splash Mob
2. Aim anywhere but the face
3. Only throw water balloons inside Splash Zone
4. Only throw waterballoons at people who are engaged in the battle (Watch out for photographers, if you can)
5. Begin battle at the sound of the whistle
6. Have Fun
7. Help Community Clean-up (Rafflng Raging Water Tickets)
WANT TO HELP?
YES! We do need help. There a group of friends that are going to fill-up TONS and TONS of waterballoons to help kick this off. So, If you'd like to get involved please message us here.
We'll need help with:
- Filling up waterballoons
- Storing waterballoon in a covered and cold area for 24 hours
- Transport buckets of balloons to locations
- Pass Out Flyers/Spread the Word/Email a blog
- Help Clean-Up Afterwards
CLEAN-UP
So this is how awesome San Jose flash mob communities get down. We get together for some silly fun, clean-up, and then do it again next year! If everyone picks up a little, it'll be an easy clean. We have brooms, bags, and gloves. Thank you!
So as usual, we will leave the battleground more awesome then we found it!
SPLASH MOB!!!
Spread the word, fill-up waterballoons, load your soakers, and wait for the location to drop so we can continue this San Jose Flash Mob fun.
